Consumerative: noun , pronunciation: ree-tahrd
A self identified member of a socio-cultural class, usually mis-identified as a political affiliation, that views itself as embracing the tenets of conservatism, when in actuality believes only in the rhetoric of right wing media infotainment that they willingly digest in obscene quantities. Unable to reason clearly but usually able to regurgitate slogans and long refuted paranoid conspiracy theories. (see birthers, teabaggers). Embraces and appropriates the idea of populism while completely blind to the irony that federalism is much more attuned to their collective interest than corporatist manipulated pseudo-libertarianism.
