My favorite female vocalist, bar none. The playfulness and “girlishness” of her voice (and I mean that as a high compliment) combined with a masters control & musical knowledge, made her unique and still unequalled. Not a day goes by that I don’t listen to one of her songs and if I had a daughter, her name would be Ella.
